It’s nice that you have an uncle who is great with his camera or a cousin who is an aspiring wedding planner who is offering to do your wedding at a discounted price or better yet “free”…but keep one thing in mind: You get what you pay for.  Professional vendors come with experience to handle various situations that may occur or capture moments the amateur can’t.
