Event planning company, More than Just Weddings, becomes Always Perpekto! and launches new website on Valentine’s Day

Los Angeles, CA (February 14, 2012)- Los Angeles based wedding and event planning company, formerly known as More than Just Weddings received a makeover and takes on the name Always Perpekto! just in time for Valentine’s Day.

With the expansion of business and realization of the need to support the vast amount of new clientele, owner and planner, Wenda Evans chose to rename her company, restructure service offerings and update brand identity to better serve her clients.

“I take pride in my events and my heritage.  When choosing a new name for my company I wanted something that represented both. I ensure every detail is always perfect for every event whether big or small, so Always Perfect! was the obvious choice, and translated in my mother’s native language of Tagalog Perfect is Perpekto,”  said Evans.

Always loving parties as a child, Evans planned her first party in the second grade. Her mother let her plan every detail of her own birthday and she has been planning ever since. In 1992, at a young 18, Evans was engaged and had to plan her own wedding on a modest $6,000.00 budget.  With no internet and only a few wedding magazines on shelves she spent every free moment calling wedding venues and exchanging ideas with friends and coworkers who were also planning their weddings.

“One day my mother suggested I hire a wedding coordinator for the day of my wedding, I had never heard the term but once she explained that people actually got paid for doing what I had been doing for years because I loved it, I decided to start my own company,” said Evans.

With over a decade of planning more than just weddings and continual praises for her work, Evans decided it was time to rebrand and launch on a holiday that has its fair share of events, Valentine’s Day.  The re-launch only allows Evans to continue in her commitment of client satisfaction and assurance of always planning the perfect event.
