Founder and planner, Wenda discovered her true love for planning. In 1992, at a young 18, when Wenda was tasked with planning her own wedding on a modest $6,000.00 budget.  With no internet filled with abundant wedding DIY ideas, and only a few wedding magazines on shelves she spent every free moment calling wedding venues and exchanging ideas with friends and co-workers who were also planning their weddings.   She decided then to start her own event planning company, and Always Perpekto!, formerly More than Just Weddings, was born.

Her love for the wedding industry and her clientele has continued to blossom over the years. Recently growing so much Wenda was prompted to rebrand and expand to accommodate the newly welcomed growth. Since her start Wenda has developed the reputation of the calming factor on the day of event.  Her attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, warm personality, ability to work under pressure and creativity help to continue making her events successful.

Wenda is known for going beyond her duty as a planner to assist her clients in making their events as stress free and memorable as possible.  Her passion for her work allows Wenda to easily provide dedication to every wedding and event she plans regardless of which stage of planning the client is in. Wenda of Always Perpekto! specializes in both California and destination weddings and events for PR Agencies, Corporate entities, City Officials, Celebrity Associations, Productions Companies and Social Media Organizations.  Wenda has planned everything from the quirky and unusual event to the highly elaborate and destination weddings sometimes in less than 24 hours. Most recently, in partnership with CBS Radio, Wenda planned a Mass Military Wedding for 21 deserving military couples at Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa in just 30 days.  The event had over 40 generous vendors to donate their time, energy and efforts. Wenda’s accomplishments include the start of the first Southern California Chapter for the Association for Wedding Professionals International in 2007, becoming a destination Planner for the Philippines in 2009 and becoming a Certified Mexico Specialist in 2010.

Andrea Walker’s passion for event planning started in college, when her sorority spearheaded a citywide memorial service for September 11^th.  Learning all the major components of producing a well organized, successful event later awarded her sorority the coveted Thousand Stars Award.

After receiving a Bachelors Degree in Corporate Communication and Business Management, Andrea moved to Southern California to continue her education and pursue a career in events and wedding planning. Soon after her move she received a Professional Meeting and Event Planning Certificate and was given the opportunity to assist two prominent Wedding and Events Planners and produce events exclusively on her own. Andrea stays committed to providing clients with an organized, relaxed, and detailed planning experience. Working under pressure is one of her strong points and her dedication to exceeding her client’s expectations, remaining optimistic and providing a tranquil, stress-free event continue to be her core values.
